Thank you for using Arc. The operators of Arc (“Arc”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) are committed to protecting your personal information. Questions: Hello@noemtech.com.
When you visit arc.app, this Help Centre, or use our mobile applications, wallets integrations, or support/feedback channels (collectively the “Services”), you trust us with personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Services you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use.
1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you disclose to us
In short: We collect personal information you provide.
- Account information. To use the Services you may create or connect a digital wallet and sign in (for example via Apple, email, or other auth providers). We may store identifiers such as user ID, username, avatar, email (if provided), and linked wallet address.
- Transactions. We may maintain records of trades and related activity you initiate through Arc (for example swaps involving creator or run coins and USDC), including amounts, timestamps, and public wallet addresses. On-chain activity is also visible on the public blockchain.
- Customer support & feedback. Messages you send via in-app feedback, email, or support channels.
- User-generated content. Posts, comments, messages, media, profile text, and similar content, plus associated metadata. Some token-related or social activity may also be reflected on public blockchains, which we cannot edit or delete.
- Optional device data. If you grant permission, we may process location (for court / map features), HealthKit workout data, camera/photos for media, or notifications tokens.
Automatically collected information
In short: Device and usage data may be collected automatically when you use the Services.
- Metrics and performance. App interactions, diagnostics, crash logs, and performance data.
- Device and connection. IP address, device identifiers, browser or OS type, app version, and coarse location (e.g., city/region) derived from IP.
- Status. Approximate last-active times on the Services.
2. How do we use your information?
In short: To provide and improve Arc, keep it safe, and communicate with you.
- Provide the Services — operate accounts, feeds, trading flows, messaging, deposits/onramps, and support.
- Security and integrity — prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and prohibited activity; enforce our Terms.
- Research and product development — understand usage and improve features.
- Compliance — meet legal obligations and lawful requests.
- Communications — service announcements, security alerts, and (with appropriate consent or as permitted) product updates. Marketing emails include unsubscribe options.
- De-identified data — create aggregated or de-identified datasets that no longer identify you.
3. Will your information be shared with anyone?
In short: Yes, with vendors and as needed to run Arc and comply with law.
- Service providers — e.g. hosting and database (such as Supabase), auth and wallets (such as Privy), analytics, push notifications, maps, onramp/payments partners, and customer tooling. They process data on our instructions.
- Blockchains and public networks — wallet addresses and transactions you authorize are public by design.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets.
- Legal — when required by subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- With your direction — when you choose to share profile or content publicly in the product.
We do not sell your personal information as “sale” is commonly defined under the CCPA. We do not share personal information for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising unless we disclose otherwise and provide required choices.
4. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
On the Site and Help Centre we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics. You can control cookies in your browser; some features may not work if disabled. The mobile app may use analogous on-device identifiers and SDKs.
5. How is your information protected?
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Is your information transferred internationally?
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms.
7. What is our stance on third-party websites?
The Services may link to third-party sites or apps (wallets, onramps, block explorers). Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
8. How long do we keep your information?
We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where feasible. Blockchain data is permanent and outside our control.
9. Do we collect information from minors?
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. The Services are for users 18+. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact Hello@noemtech.com and we will take appropriate steps.
10. What if I am a European user?
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, Arc is the controller of personal information described in this Policy. We process data under bases such as contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (security, improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligation.
11. What are your privacy rights?
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents may have CCPA/CPRA rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
To exercise rights, email Hello@noemtech.com. We may need to verify your request. We cannot modify or erase information immutably stored on a public blockchain.
12. Your controls and choices
- Marketing email — unsubscribe via the link in the email.
- Push notifications — control in device / in-app settings.
- Permissions — location, camera, HealthKit, etc. via OS settings.
- Account closure — use in-app delete-account flows where available, or contact support.
- In-app feedback — Settings → Feedback stores your note in our systems without opening a mail client.
13. Do we make updates to this policy?
Yes. We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes may be highlighted in the app or Site. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
14. How can you contact us about this policy?
